A horseman since he can remember, Kevin first became involved with horses when he was a small child. He grew up in Hodgdon, Maine on at 5th generation, family owned dairy farm. Kevin’s father Leroy Crane states, “I knew he was gifted with animals right from the start. He wanted a horse so badly that until he got his first horse at age eight, he rode the dairy cows and taught them to do jumps.” Kevin has always had a natural touch, but became very involved in the early 80s while receiving his degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Maine at Orono. He began mentoring with
some of the all time great natural horsemen such as the late Tom Dorrance, Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman. Kevin loves the method of natural horsemanship. He educates
horses and humans into partnership through good timing, feel, balance and the ability to truly communicate with the horse. Kevin owns and operates a full training, edcating and breeding facility with his wife Theresa, son John and daughter Lauren in Albion, Maine. He travels throughout the United States and Canada doing clinics at large equine events, trade shows as well as private farms.

Kevin is known for his kind, gentle way of communicating and educating horses and humans from the ground up. No matter what discipline of riding you choose, you will understand the language of the horse and see how little it takes to ask for a big change. You will be amazed at learning to observe and maintain consistency, how easy it is to have true unity with your horse. Kevin will teach you how to correct problem issues and how to prevent them from ever happening.
